Mission Statement

The mission of Fairhope Elementary School is to develop responsible and motivated students prepared to be lifelong learners. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment in which students may reach their fullest potential. This will be accomplished through the collaborative efforts of our school staff, parents, and a community committed to a child-centered curriculum that is up to date and researched based.

The faculty, staff, and community stakeholders of Fairhope Elementary School believe the following:

Student learning is the chief priority of the school.
Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, emotional, and social needs.
A student’s self esteem is enhanced by positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students and staff.
Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.
Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
