Gail Ikner

This award is about:

This award is given in appreciation of a commitment to nurture and mold young lives.

Gail Ikner doesn't see children in relationship to what they have or don't have or what their family name may be. She simply sees children who need her. Gail worked successfully with a particular student that was challenged every day he was at school.

A peer has said that Gail works harder and teaches more than any teacher she has ever known.
