This award is about recognizing individuals who have moved outside of their comfort zone-beyond the easy- to meet the needs of students from all "walks of life" and who bring tons of emotional, physical, mental, and home baggage to school. Kristie provides an abundance of compassion to our children and a wealth of professional knowledge to our school. She exemplifies our "Children Need Models More Than They Need Critics" motto. Her natural abilities and those developed through hard work and study are evidenced in every aspect of her daily activities.
